Thanks for this one. I always wondered how the Jazz pros felt about recording pop stuff. They really bring out thye best in what they have to work with. One album and artist rarely seen anywhere is Nat Adderley. He had a great album called "More Brass" in the late 50's. His version of "Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child" is a classic.
